Hello stranger! My name is Eva and I’m native of Spain, although right now I live and work in Nashville.
I love to travel, crafting, animals, video games and all sort of nerdy shows. I try to apply all those passions to my ceramic figurines that I create with enormous care and love.
About Unexpected Lullaby
Since I was a kid I have always loved animals. Fascinated by them, I watched all kinds of documentaries and cut photos from magazines. I recalled how the tiny and cute fauna of my hometown in Spain would always make me smile. From the colorful parrots that invaded the city when I was 10, to the little snails showing up on rainy days, I have always loved watching them and now I want to recreate that feeling.
The first time I was introduced to clay I knew what I wanted to do, handcraft smiles through the use of tiny figurines.
With each new figurine I try to perfect my skills, adding more intricate and interesting elements. Through the addition of new materials, complex patterns, and the research of natural shapes and forms; it all helps me evolve as an artist.
