What are Wish Carriers?

I have yet to explain how I came up with the idea of my wish carriers.

It all started with the desire to create something that my sister would like. Since we were kids I’ve always seen her doing witchy things. Lighting candles, burning wishes and incense… Simple and easy things for your amateur kind of witch.

One of the things I looked for when thinking about her, was that I wanted to create something that she could have on her desk. Something that would make her smile every time she saw it.

Combining all the elements while thinking about those burnt wishes gave me the idea: WISH CARRIERS.

So, what are the wish carriers?

They are cute animal figurines designed to carry your wishes, notes or spells to completion.

Instructions:

1. Write your wish or message on a piece of paper.

2. Add it on the animal’s special carrier.

3. Let the animal safeguard it until completion.

4. Repeat.

Since I started making and selling them, I had several customers purchasing messengers for themselves or loved ones.

One case in particular has stuck with me over time. At my first event ever, a man bought one of the first models I made, a cute little white bunny, for his wife. When chatting with him, he told me that it was going to be a Christmas present for her. He was planning to write a message on the piece of paper telling how much he loved her and always would and how this little bunny would protect and safeguard any wishes she had.

That purchase made my day. It was the beginning of a new line of work.

Stories like this one always give me energy to create more. I like to imagine the receiver, smiling, while thinking on the animal being on his way to deliver their wishes and hopes. Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that you do while thinking of others.

After all, I enjoy creating cute animals because I hope they will bring smiles to people.
